Master's in Educational Leadership Virtual 5K March 10-11, 2018

What is a Virtual 5K?

A Virtual 5K is like any other 5K race, but with a different way of participating.  A runner will run/walk the 5K race on their own time in a location they choose. This could be around the neighborhood, in a park, on a treadmill, with friends, family or alone. The runner must complete the 5K between the start and end dates that are set.

How to participate in our Virtual 5K

To participate in the Master's in Educational Leadership 5K, the participant must:

  1. Register for the event below.
  2. Once registered, complete the 5K race at any time on March 10 and March 11, 2018.
  3. To show your participation and receive your medal, the participant must then post a photo of them completing, running, or walking the race to Facebook, tag "The University of Mount Union" and use the hashtag "#UMUEdLeadership" before the end date and time.  

All registered participants will receive a medal for completing the 5K, which will be sent to the address specified in the registration form.

We encourage you to share an image using the tag "@mountunion" and "#UMUEdLeadership" once you receive your medal.

Start: Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 12:01 a.m.
End: Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I for myself, my executors, administrators and assignees, do hereby release and discharge the University of Mount Union, the City of Alliance and other sponsors for all claims, damages, demands and actions whatsoever in any manner arising or growing from my participation in said athletics event.  I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in this event, and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event.
