Entrepreneurship Club to Hold First Meeting October 5
September 29, 2017
ALLIANCE, Ohio - The newly formed Entrepreneurship Club will hold its first meeting on Thursday, October 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Engineering and Business Building room 206.
The meeting will be hosted by Jordan Martin, Taryn Kocher and Ashley Bernardi, three University of Mount Union students, with the help of Michael Kachilla, associate professor and director for the Entrepreneurial Initiatives Studies.
“With the first meeting, we hope to gain interest and raise awareness for our new club,” Martin said. “Our goal for the organization is to have an outlet for entrepreneurship students, and other students on campus with ideas, to get feedback, find connections they may need and to learn from other entrepreneurs that we would have speak at our meetings.”
During the meeting, students will learn more about the club in general and find out about a couple of projects that will be organized by the members.
The founding members of the club are hoping to assist with the planning and details for the Entrepreneurship Practice Space and Innovation Center and UMU outdoor game day to take place in the spring.
Pizza and drinks will be provided at the meeting for students who attend.
