Repertory Strings Concert
The program will feature Bohdan Subchak, instructor of violin, on Bartok’s “Romanian Folk Dances”, and seniors Dylaina Campbell of Akron, Ohio and Molly Muckleroy of Uniontown, Ohio performing “Air for Buenos Aires” by Chris Thomas accompanied by the orchestra. The orchestra will also perform Respighi’s “Ancient Airs and Dances Suite 3.”
Other performers include Mount Union students Emily Becker of Brecksville, Ohio; Arianna Bloom of Uniontown, Ohio; Alexandra Cox of Alliance, Ohio; Max Dudack of Akron, Ohio; Ava Fornara of Bentleyville, Ohio; Mirei Kitano of Japan; Kollin Klingler of Bryan, Ohio; Reagan Kole of Medina, Ohio; Savannah Kole of Medina, Ohio; Andrew McMillen of Alliance, Ohio; Lance Tomasko of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Ali Williams of Youngstown, Ohio and Benjamin Wykoff of Jackson Township, Ohio, along with faculty members Susan Haddox and Jerry Miskell, and community members Carol Butler, Marcus Kinnard and Brooklyn Smith.
