Teaching Area(s): CIS and Computer Science

Mount Union has much better computing facilities than other private schools our size. The administration has maintained a commitment to keep our computer labs up to date with equipment and software that allows us to offer course content that applies directly to practices and skills used in the real world.

Facilities and Equipment

The Computer Science and Information Systems Lab contains networked NT workstations, a computer overhead projection system, and UNIX workstations. Additionally, the all-college computer labs and Macintosh lab provide all students access to word processing, spreadsheets, on and off-campus email, the World Wide Web and other Internet applications, statistical packages, and a variety of special purpose software for various disciplines.
