Role of the Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Professions Advisor
The Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Professions Advisor will help you in a number of ways as you prepare for application to professional school. In your first two years at the University of Mount Union, the Advisor will inform you of the opportunities and requirements of specific health professions. As a first year or sophomore student, you should give the Advisor your contact information so that you can hear about health professions programs being offered on the campus. This will also help the Advisor contact you with information that will keep you on track to be a successful professional school applicant.
In the junior and senior year, the Advisor will meet with you personally to help you through the specific application processes you are undertaking. With the help of the Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Professions Committee, the Advisor will offer recommendations for your application to graduate schools in the health professions.
