Faculty Art Exhibit on Display

The annual Faculty Art Exhibit will be on display in Crandall Art Gallery from August 25 through September 30, featuring a variety of works.

This exhibit includes aluminum and wood sculptures by Robert Buganski, associate professor of art and chair of the Department of Art; photographs by Joel Collins, professor of art; paintings using spray enamel by Tim Hallaran, lecturer of art; oil paintings and drawings done from observation by Margo Miller, assistant professor of art and director of Crandall Art Gallery; and small paper collages by Carol Opatken, lecturer of art. Inspired by the work of John Maeda, a digital piece illustrating the correlation between programming and visual design by Louise Moses, professor of computer science and information systems and director of media computing, will also be on display.

A reception will also be held on Thursday, September 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Gallery. This event is free and open to the public.

Admission to the Crandall Art Gallery is free. The gallery is located between Rodman Playhouse and Cope Music Hall on the corner of Simpson Street and Union Avenue. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
