Faculty Artist Showcase Slated for Sunday

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union’s Department of Music and the Theta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda, a national music society, will present a faculty artist showcase at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 22 in Presser Recital Hall.

Audience members will enjoy performances by Amanda-Joyce Abbot, soprano; Betty Shultz, oboe; Elaine Anderson, violoncello; Kathy Reichenberger, harpsichord and piano; Adam Sarata, guitar; James Perone, clarinet and alto saxophone; Bohdan Subchak, violin; Jessica Weber, soprano; Patricia Olsson, soprano saxophone and Maira Liliestedt, piano. Works composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Andrew Lloyd Webber and many others will be featured.

The faculty showcase is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street on Mount Union’s campus. Due to ongoing construction at the site of the new Performing Arts Complex, no on-site parking is available behind the building. Alternate parking is available on Simpson and Vincent Streets and in the Eells Art Center parking lot, as well as in other campus parking lots.
