Faculty Recital to be Held February 7 at Mount Union

A recital featuring Mount Union College Department of Music faculty members Kathy Gold, vocalist and Kathy Reichenberger, pianist will be held on Sunday, February 7 at 3 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
Gold, a lecturer of music, earned a bachelor of music degree in music theory and composition from Butler University and a master of music degree in music composition from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining the faculty at Mount Union, she taught general music and choir. She also traveled worldwide with her two sisters as the “Jones Sisters Gospel Trio.”
Reichenberger, a faculty accompanist, coordinator of accompanying and instructor of piano, earned a bachelor of music education degree from Southwest Baptist University and a master of music degree in piano performance from the University of Akron. Over the years, she has served as a staff accompanist at the University of Missouri-Columbia, William Penn College, Vennard College, Malone University and the Summit Choral Society. Reichenberger also serves as a church musician at Faith Bible Church in North Canton, OH.
The recital will feature works by Bernstein, Scarlatti, Wolf and Ives, among others.
This event is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall, which stands on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street, across from the Campus Lakes.
