Faculty Research Forum to be Held November 15

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union Faculty Research Forum will be held at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, November 15 in the Engineering and Business Building, Room 203.

Presenting faculty members are Dr. Steve Cederbloom and Margo Miller.

Cederbloom, associate professor of physics and astronomy, will present “Steve Cederbloom's sabbatical: Investigating the Radio Universe.”

Before coming to Mount Union in 1992, Cederbloom was an instructor in the department of astronomy at Indiana University. Cederbloom earned a Bachelor of Arts in physics with a concentration in computer science from Carleton College. He also received a Master of Science degree in astronomy and a doctoral degree in astronomy, both from Indiana University.

Miller, associate professor of art and director of Crandall Art Gallery, will present, “Margo Miller’s Sabbatical: An artist’s creative journey in painting – timeline.”

A member of the Mount Union faculty since 2004, Miller has taught at institutions such as the Cleveland Institute of Art, Youngstown State University, The University of Akron, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University, the Medina County Enrichment Program and was a private art instructor. Miller earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from the University of Akron and a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Kent State University.
