Fall Vocal Showcase Scheduled for November 13

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The University of Mount Union’s Department of Music will present a Fall Vocal Showcase at 7:30 p.m. on November 13 in Presser Recital Hall.

Students will perform a variety of musical selections, including George Frideric Handel’s “Come and Trip It” and “Si, tra I ceppi,” Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “In diesen heil’gen Hallen” and Johannes Brahms’ “Immer leiser wird mein Schlummer,” among many others.

Performers include soprano Erin Bell, a freshman criminal justice and psychology major of Mount Vernon, OH; mezzo-soprano Maya Brown, a sophomore English/Writing major of Tiffin, OH; baritone Sean Eppler, a junior music major of Mentor, OH; bass Kyle Crowley, a senior physics major of McDonald, PA; baritone Ryan Chinrock, a senior biochemistry major of Suffield, OH; soprano Kacey Cooper, a sophomore music major of Deerfield, OH; bass Sean Andrews, a junior music major of Green, OH; soprano Kristen Morton, a junior music major of Minerva, OH; soprano Corinne Midlik, a senior history major of Medina, OH; soprano Alex Garner, a junior music major of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; tenor Joshua Sleutz, a senior business administration and accounting major of Kidron, OH; baritone Daniil Kravchnko, a sophomore international studies major of Kiev, Ukraine, soprano Amanda Myhal, a sophomore biochemistry major of Canfield, OH and tenor Jeffrey Slater, a senior biochemistry major of Millersport, OH.

Piano accompanists include Kathy Reichenberger, Bohdan Subchak and Brent Schloneger.
