Because of the connections the University has and because I'm an assistant in the art gallery, I've been able to participate in an auction of Russian art work as well as help curate many other exhibits.

Fine Arts Program
The University of Mount Union’s long history has been built on a foundation that is firmly rooted in the liberal arts, and historically, our core curriculum has provided its students with the critical well-rounded exposure for which the institution has become known. Vital to this educational philosophy is a strong fine arts program.
At Mount Union, we are committed to providing all of our students with exceptional opportunities for engagement in artistic, musical and theatrical endeavors no matter what their majors or career aspirations. These programs provide for exploration and unveil new ideas and concepts while broadening the cultural horizons of our community. The study of art, music and theatre is truly an integral part of the well-rounded student experience we provide.
Through our program in the fine arts, we also seek to provide cultural enrichment and entertainment to the Alliance and surrounding communities. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend exhibits, recitals, concerts and performances throughout the year.
