Flute Choir and Woodwind Quartet to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union Department of Music will present the Mount Union Flute Choir and Woodwind Quartet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 in Presser Recital Hall.
The Woodwind Quartet includes sophomore music education major Brianna Searing of Fort Wayne, Ind., flute; senior mathematics major Laryssa Byndas of Brooklyn, OH, clarinet; senior music education major Ian Bell of North Canton, OH, bassoon and music lecturer Betty Shultz, oboe.
The Flute Choir includes students freshman music education major Allison Bates of Minerva, OH; junior psychology major Cayley Briggs of Canton, OH; community member Drew Duncan, senior French major Hope Gergel of Minerva, OH; sophomore biology major Sarah Hohenadel of Mogadore, OH; senior French major Stephanie Phelps of Niles, OH; sophomore international business and Japanese major Shelby Pollock of Mentor, OH; senior music education major Heather Rice of Madison, OH and alumnus Jacque Mathias ‘12. Music lecturer Kathy Reichenberger will accompany on piano.
The recital will feature pieces by Christensen, Faure, Bach, Pearce, Magnard, Nagata, McMichael, Pollack, Goepfart and Hedien.
