Flute Choir Concert to be Held November 18

The University of Mount Union’s Department of Music will present a flute choir concert on Thursday, November 18 at 8 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.
The flute choir is under the director of music faculty member Robin Tryon. Members of the choir include Cayley Briggs, a freshman of Canton, OH; Sarah Dye, a senior English: literature major of Carrollton, OH; Hope Gergel, a sophomore music education major of East Rochester, OH; Jessica Kostrab, a sophomore history major of Chardon, OH; Amanda Manley, a sophomore music education major of Dalton, OH; Jacqueline Mathias, a junior music education major of New Philadelphia, OH; and Heather Rice, a freshman of Madison, OH.
The choir will perform selections by Catherine McMichael, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, Gustav Holst, Francois-Joseph Gossec and Erik Satie.
The concert is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street on Mount Union's campus. For more information, contact the Department of Music at (330) 823-2180.
