ALLIANCE, Ohio- Folk duo Lisa and Heather Malyuk will perform a variety of folk compositions at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 25 in Presser Recital Hall at the University of Mount Union.

Both sisters are able keep their passion for music alive while developing outside professional careers; Lisa is a registered dietitian and Heather is a doctor of audiology.

Throughout their musical career, they have independently produced and recorded four albums titled “13 Tunes,” “Summer’s End,” “Stella” and “Merry Christmas from Lisa and Heather Malyuk.” They have performed at reputable venues and festivals including the Kent State Folk Festival, Dulci-More Festival in Lisbon, Ohio, the Swannanoa Gathering in Asheville, North Carolina and at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
