Follow-Up to Mount Union Summer Biology Workshop to Be Held December 2

Mount Union College will hold a meeting, designed as a follow-up experience to the Mount Union College Summer Biology Workshop, on Thursday, December 2 from 4 ' 6 p.m. in the College's Bracy Hall.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Jonathan Scott, professor of biology at Mount Union. All biology teachers who would like to learn how to use a thermal cycler for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) work are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The objectives of the meeting include: demonstrate and provide a laboratory experience in applying the PCR to investigate human DNA polymorphism, demonstrate how to use a thermal cycler, and reinforce and share classroom experiences in problem solving activities.
