Free Concert Featuring Christian Bands Planned for Saturday, April 6 in Mount Union College Quad

Various Mount Union College organizations are sponsoring a free concert, Revolution 2002, in the College "Quad" on Saturday, April 6 from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.

 

The concert will feature rap, hip/hop, rock and gospel music as well as break dancing. Refreshments will also be available to purchase.

Various performers will be participating including Fresh Anointing, a gospel group from the Alliance area; X-Nelo and Godsound, a band and rap group from Indiana; and EBE Crew, a rap group; and break dancers from Columbus.

The event is sponsored by Campus Crusade for Christ, Student Senate, Religious Life Council and many other College organizations.

The concert will be held in the Mount Union College Peterson Fieldhouse if the weather conditions do not permit an outdoor event.

On Friday, April 5 at 8 p.m. in the Mount Union College Dewald Chapel, the Revolution 2002 festivities will kick-off with a performance by the Qorban Praise Band. The Praise Band is comprised of Mount Union College students.

Both Friday and Saturday's events are free and open to the public.
