Full-Time Physician Assistant Studies Assistant Clinical Coordinator
University of Mount Union Physician Assistant Studies Program invites applications for a full-time staff position as assistant clinical coordinator.
Responsibilities: The Assistant Clinical Coordinator will assist in the planning and coordination of the clinical education and clinical practicum components of the program including assessment and evaluation of clinical instruction and assessment of student progress in clinical sites. The Assistant Clinical Coordinator will also assist with hospital affiliation agreements, coordinating the assignments of student clinical rotation sites, and assist in maintaining the clinical database. Some travel will be required. The selected individual will also be expected to assist with student selection and advisement, assisting in program evaluation, curriculum development, and participate in scholarly activity and committee involvement.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, and have strong oral and written communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, as well as a strong commitment to fulfill the mission of the PA Program and the University of Mount Union.
