- Physical Geology or Investigation Earth
- Historical Geology
- Mineralogy
- Petrology
- Stratigraphy and Sedimentation
- Structural Geology
- Seminar
- Senior Culminating Experience or Honors Thesis/Project
- Eight additional hours of GEO coursework
Required extra-departmental courses
- Precalculus or Calculus I
- Foundations of Chemistry or Concepts in Chemistry
- General Physics I or one BIO course

- Additional 8 semester hours of geology coursework at the 200 level or higher.
