Greek Week Events Planned at Mount Union College

Monday, October 29 will kick off Greek Week 2007 at Mount Union College. Greek Week includes events each night of the week and is designed to bring sororities and fraternities together in friendly competition and to benefit the Alliance community.

Greek Olympics will be held Monday, October 29 from 7-9 p.m. in the Peterson Field House. Greek Olympics events will include corn hole, tug-of-war and a three-legged race.

On Tuesday, October 30, a Greek Jeopardy competition will be held in Campus Ground at 7 p.m. Following Jeopardy will be a campus-wide canned food Dorm Storm. Items collected will benefit Alliance are food banks.

Wednesday, October 31 will feature the Greek Dodge Ball competition. The event will all take place in the Peterson Field House at 8 p.m.

The Greek sing competition will be held Thursday, November 1 at 9 p.m. in the Mount Union Theatre. The fraternities and sororities will be putting a Greek twist on many familiar and popular songs.

A reception will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, November 2 in the Kresge Food Court followed by a campus-wide mixer in Campus Grounds from 9-11 p.m. featuring a DJ and free food.
