Guitar and Percussion Ensembles to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union’s guitar and percussion ensembles will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4 in Presser Recital Hall.
Ensembles will perform musical selections of Fernando Sor, Ferdinando Carulli, Francisco Tarrega, Celso Machado, Carl Orff, Antonio Vivaldi, Wayne Shorter, Adam Sarata, John Alfieri, Frederic Macarez and Scott Harding.
Members of the guitar ensemble include lecturer of guitar Adam Sarata; senior biochemistry major Eva Laino of Canfield, Ohio; senior integrated media and philosophy major Eric Carbenia of Waynesburg, Ohio; senior communication major Andrew John Rojek of North Canton, Ohio and senior exercise science major Patrick O’Toole of Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The percussion ensemble consists of lecturer of percussion Jeff Neitzke; senior mechanical engineering major Mark Amabeli of Alliance, Ohio; junior computer science major Tim Bagnola of Canton, Ohio; senior music education major Jacob Husted of Carrollton, Ohio; freshman Alex Krutkiewicz of Amherst, Ohio; junior music major Elizabeth Glanemann of Clyde, Ohio and junior psychology major Zack Shankle of Somerdale, Ohio.
