Guitar Ensemble to Perform

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The University of Mount Union’s guitar ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13 in Presser Recital Hall.

Members of the guitar ensemble include junior biochemistry major Eva Laino of Canfield, OH, guitar; junior philosophy and integrated media major Eric Carbenia of Waynesburg, OH, guitar; junior media computing major Andrew Nelson of Louisville, OH, guitar; junior exercise science major Patrick O’Toole of Monroeville, PA, bass and senior music education major Keith Wilson of Canton, OH, drums.

Adam Sarata, lecturer of guitar, directs the ensemble and the program will include a variety of songs. A piece from The Nutcracker will be performed, as well as pieces written by Sarata, Thelonious Monk, Joseph Kosma, Andrew York and many others.

The performance is free and open to the public. Presser Recital Hall is located within Cope Music Hall on the corner of Union Avenue and Simpson Street on Mount Union’s campus. Due to ongoing construction at the site of the new Performing Arts Complex, no on-site parking is available behind the building. Alternate parking is available on Simpson and Vincent Streets and in the Eells Art Center parking lot, as well as in other campus parking lots.
