Teaching Area(s): Psychology

I want my courses to be an experience, not just a class. I work hard to develop fun, exciting experiential activities in every course I teach so that students get a hands-on feel for what they are reading about and listening to.

Internships provide you with the opportunity to go out into the workforce and gain practical experience, which is critical to a successful career in the human development and family science field after graduation. Students in the human development and family science major program will have opportunities to obtain internships in settings that are tailored to their particular set of interests through the University of Mount Union’s Department of Psychology and Neuroscience or the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.
