In an era of obesity and a host of other health problems, qualified and caring health teachers are critical to the effort to help youth live longer and healthier lives. Our NCATE and AAHE accredited undergraduate health majors are geared toward those who desire to teach health in today's schools, will prepare you to impact school health programs and create awareness of health, overall well-being, fitness and motivation.

Health graduates have found success working for public and private school districts throughout the country. Others have pursued opportunities at insurance agencies, health departments and non-profit organizations.

Receiving a health degree in Ohio will open doors for you to pursue graduate studies at institutions across the country including Trinity College and Kent State University, like many of our past graduates.

Our health major is administered by the Department of Human Performance and Sport Business, which also offers programs in athletic training, exercise science, physical education, public health and sport business.
