Testimonials from Honors Program Students
Here are just a few things students have said about participating in the Honors Program at Mount Union.
The Honors Program at Mount Union is a gateway for exceptional opportunities on campus and within the community. I am very grateful to be in a close group of striving academics that I can also call my closest friends. This program not only challenges me to be a better student, but also encourages me to be a responsible citizen where I can make a lasting and positive impact in our world.

The Honors Program is important to me because I am challenged intellectually in my Honors courses, I met almost all of my closest friends through the Honors Program and the service learning projects that Honors students complete help give back in a great way to the community, while providing experiential learning at the same time.

The Honors Program provides a positive, unique learning experience, different than that of a typical curriculum. Not only that, but the professors and my fellow peers make the program worthwhile.

I loved participating in the Honors Program, as it gave me the chance to dig deep into subjects I enjoyed. The best part was that I got to work one-on-one with my professors on specific projects and goals, which often led to plenty of practical experience within the subject the class was studying.

In addition to challenging me academically, the program allowed me to overload on classes, which then enabled me to triple major and double minor. I also met other highly motivated and passionate students through the Honors Program. We completed volunteer work together, had picnics and attended other honors events. I was able to challenge myself through additional honors projects while learning more about topics I really cared about. These projects look great on my resume and helped develop my research, writing and presentation skills.
