I want my courses to be an experience, not just a class. I work hard to develop fun, exciting experiential activities in every course I teach so that students get a hands-on feel for what they are reading about and listening to.


As a human development and family science major, you will study human development from a systems perspective, examining the dynamic transaction of human life and environment. By completing the human development and family science major requirements, you will gain knowledge and an understanding of human development across the lifespan, the development of dynamics of couple and family relationships and the impact of family, community, society and culture on individual development and family life.
