Ian Indorf and Chris Hall to Present Faculty Recital October 23

Trumpetists Ian Indorf and Chris Hall, accompanied by Sandy Baker, will present a faculty recital on Sunday, October 23 at 3 p.m. in the Presser Recital Hall of Mount Union College.
Indorf, instructor of music and director of the jazz band, and Hall, private music instructor, will be performing selections by Arthur Honegger, Alexander Arutunian, Franz Joseph Hayden and Antonio Vivaldi.
Indorf holds bachelor of music degrees in trumpet performance and jazz studies from the University of Akron and a master of music degree in trumpet performance from Kent State University. He has performed with over 100 local groups including professional orchestras, jazz groups, shows and many other various musical organizations and has toured with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.
Hall earned a master of music education degree from Vandercook College of Music in Chicago. He is a retired music educator having taught for 35 years in the Tuslaw, Rittman and Perry Local school districts. In addition to Mount Union College, he has also taught at Malone College and Kent State University-Stark Campus.
Baker, an Alliance resident, holds a bachelor of music education degree from Kent State University. She is the organist and choir director at Trinity Episcopal Church and serves in the Center for International Programs at Kent State.
