Instructions for First Year Students Applying for Mount Union Admission
The following application forms for Mount Union University Admission are designed for use by prospective first year students.
- Submit your Application for Admission to the Office of Admission early in your senior year. We begin processing applications for each upcoming academic year on September 15. We strongly advise interested students to apply as early as possible. There is no application fee to apply for admission to Mount Union.
- Give the Secondary School Report Form to your high school guidance counselor.This form is a request that an official high school transcript be completed and forwarded to Mount Union's Office of Admission. YOUR TRANSCRIPT SHOULD INCLUDE YOUR CURRENT COURSES IN PROGRESS, ANY AVAILABLE GRADES FROM THE CURRENT ACADEMIC YEAR, AND PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION RESULTS IF REQUIRED IN YOUR STATE.
- Candidates for freshman admission are required to submit the results of either the American College Testing (ACT) Program Examination or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT-I) given by the College Entrance Examination Board. Please request that your scores be reported directly to the University of Mount Union. Applicants may submit the results of either examination taken during the junior or senior year. Detailed information concerning entrance examinations should be obtained from your high school's guidance office.
