Intervention Specialist
The Intervention Specialist major chooses one area of focus: Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist. The Early Childhood Intervention Specialist teaching license is valid for teaching learners with mild/moderate/intensive education needs from ages three through eight and prekindergarten through grade three. The Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist teaching license is valid for teaching learners with mild/moderate education needs from ages five through twenty-one and kindergarten through grade twelve.
