Invasives to Dye For (or With) to be Held at the Nature Center on August 25

The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will hold Invasives to Dye For (or With) on Saturday, August 25 from 9 -11 a.m.

In this event, participants will learn how to boil pigments out of plants and dye with them.

The morning will start with wool in pre-prepared dye baths and, while it's cooking, participants will investigate potential dye plants growing wild at the Nature Center.

Registration is required. The Nature Center is located six miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off of Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
