Jason Van Hoose Art on Display at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Paintings by Ronald Jason Van Hoose will be displayed through February 22 in Beeghly Hall Galleries at the University of Mount Union. The showcase is entitled “With Corn as my Witness.”

Van Hoose grew up in small towns and rural areas of western Pennsylvania and Ohio where he spent his time hunting, fishing, trapping and working on farms. He comes from a family of coal miners, farmers, steel workers, and soldiers who helped to instill in him a deep love and respect for the American landscape. Oil on canvas and acrylic on panel are his preferred mediums.
