Jeannette Mullane to Speak at CLP Session

ALLIANCE, Ohio — Jeannette Mullane, deputy director for the Stark County Board of Elections, will be the featured speaker at the Continued Learning Program session at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23 in the East Room of the Hoover Price Campus Center on the University of Mount Union’s campus.
Mullane will speak on the topic, “The Election Process in Stark County.” She will give an in-depth talk about Stark County’s election process. Mullane will discuss the qualifications for voters, the early voting and absentee balloting experience, voter participation and expectations on Election Day. Participants may demonstrate voting on the touchscreen voting devices.
Those attending are welcome to stay for lunch in the Kresge Dining Commons ($6.50) or B&B Café (a la carte) following the session.
The Continued Learning Program sessions, which are all free and open to the public, include a variety of presentations and current perspectives, as well as time for questions and discussion. The last of the fall sessions will be held on October 30.
