Join Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center for a March Sky Walk
April 08, 2010
The John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will hold a Sky Walk on Saturday, March 16 from 8 - 10 p.m.
Venus returns to the evening sky this month after a year's absence to become the night's brightest "star." It is still low in the sky, however, and will set by the end of twilight, so Saturn and Jupiter will still be the planets of interest. Matt Ferrel will again be our guide. Dress warmly, and remember that the walk will be cancelled if the sky is cloudy. Bring a lawn chair if you like.
Registration is required. Call the Nature Center at (30) 823-7487 to register. The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183.
