Join Nature Center for Lunar Eclipse Evening
October 20, 2004
The John T. Huston - Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center will hold a 'Lunar Eclipse Evening' on Wednesday, October 27 from 8 ' 11 p.m.
The eclipse starts about 8 p.m. and the moon enters totality around 10:30 p.m. The moon leaves totality just before midnight, so it will have to finish without us (you can watch from home if you are a night owl). We will have activities inside if you don't want to watch every moment of the eclipse. Don't forget your lawn chair and binoculars!
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
