Join Nature Center for Spring Events
April 19, 2004
On Saturday, April 24, the John T. Huston- Brumbaugh Nature Center will present the "Flowers that Bloom in the Spring" program from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
The exploration will start at the Visitors Center with a few slides of local wildflowers to introduce what's blooming, what has just finished blooming, and what will soon be blooming. A walk to the Huston Woods will immediately follow. No registration is required.
On Sundays, April 25 and May 16 and 30, enjoy a refreshing spring afternoon with Arlan. Join us for "Amblin' Along with Arlan" at 2 p.m. at the Nature Center.
Participants will have the opportunity to take a leisurely hike with Arlan Garra, an avid nature enthusiast. Garra is an Alliance native and retired biology and science teacher. Refreshments will be served following the hike.
The Nature Center is located 6 miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183. For more information on any of these events, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
