Join the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center for Schoolyard Habitat
March 28, 2003
The John T. Huston-John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center is offering a "Schoolyard Habitat" program on Saturday, April 5 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
If you're a teacher, you'll want to join us for this workshop designed to make your class time more hands-on and interactive. Capitalize on your students' interest in outdoor "critters." Learn how to establish a schoolyard habitat community team. Discover how to use the site as a teaching tool for cross-curricular studies and how to access community resources. Bring a lunch and come to have fun!
Registration is required. Call the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487 for more details. The Nature Center is located six miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183.
