Join the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center to Celebrate African American Culture
April 09, 2010
Join the John T. Huston-Dr. John D. Brumbaugh Nature Center on Saturday, February 22 from 2 - 4 p.m. for a celebration of nature and African American culture.
Help us celebrate Black History Month as we join Michelle Collins-Sibley and Barbara Lyons to discover the connection between nature and African American culture. If the weather is not unreasonable we'll spend some time outside collecting, so dress appropriately for an outdoor excursion. One of the connections we'll forge will be making a musical instrument, so come get in tune.
No registration is required. Call the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487 for more details. The Nature Center is located six miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off Route 183.
