Review Photo/Kevin GraffALLIANCE, Ohio – Honorable Judge Dixie Park, the first woman to be elected Judge of the Stark County Probate Court, will be the keynote speaker at the University of Mount Union’s Constitution Day celebration at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 in the East Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will celebrate the 227th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution being signed.

Park is the first vice-president of the Ohio Association of Probate Judges, chairs the Probate Forms committee and and recently co-chaired the Ohio Judicial Conference 50th anniversary Planning Committee. Park received a juris doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law. She is a member of the Ohio Judicial Conference, American Judges Association, Ohio State Bar Association and the Stark County Bar Association.

The U.S. typically celebrates Constitution Day on September 17, to commemorate the day in 1787 when the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met to sign the document they created.
