Karen Perone to Speak at CLP Session

ALLIANCE, Ohio — Karen Perone, head of systems and technical processing for Rodman Public Library and a member of the Alliance Historical Society, will be the featured speaker at the Continued Learning Program session at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30 in the East Room of the Hoover Price Campus Center on the University of Mount Union’s campus.

Perone will hold a book discussion on the topic, “Alliance As I Knew it: Life in the Late 1800s” as retold by William H. Macgrath.

Those attending are welcome to stay for lunch in the Kresge Dining Commons ($6.50) or B&B Café (a la carte) following the session.

The Continued Learning Program sessions, which are all free and open to the public, include a variety of presentations and current perspectives, as well as time for questions and discussion.
