Kids in the Garden Clay Flower Pots to be Held on June 27

The J.T. Huston-Dr. J.D. Brumbaugh Nature Center of Mount Union College will hold a Kids in the Garden Clay Flower Pots event on Wednesday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to noon.

This program will be for children ages 8 to 11. A local potter, Ann Hendel, will show the children how to create flower pots from clay. Each participant will make a flower pot to take home.

The morning will start with caring for the Children's garden followed a snack time and the making of the flower pots.

Space is limited to twenty children ages 8-11 and registration is required. The Nature Center is located six miles south of Mount Union College on Daniel Street, just off of Route 183. For more information, contact the Nature Center at (330) 823-7487.
