Kimono as Art Exhibit on Display at the Canton Museum of Art through April 26

Mount Union students participate in a tea ceremony held at the Haupt House in anticipation of the Kimono as Art Exhibit coming to the Canton Museum of ArtKimono as Art: The Landscapes of Itchiku Kubota exhibit is currently on display at the Canton Museum of Art through April 26.

Kimono as Art features 40 oversized kimono created by Master Kubota. Kimono is touring the United States for six months with only two stops, one in San Diego, California and the other in Canton, Ohio.

In November of 2008, Welcoming Kimono, a reception promoting the upcoming exhibit was held at the Haupt House. Pictured is a tea ceremony held during that reception.
