KING NAMED DIRECTOR OF MAJOR GIFTS

ALLANCE, Ohio -- Gregory L. King, director of admissions at Mount Union College since 1993, has been named director of major gifts at the College.

King's duties will shift from admissions to fund-raising effective March 1. King joined the College in 1990 as an admissions counselor and has served in various capacities in admissions as well as having served as director of minority affairs.

A 1989 Mount Union College graduate, King was a double major in sport management and business administration with a marketing concentration. King earned his master's degree in higher education administration from Kent State University in 1993.

A native of Bedford Heights, he was the first student in the College's minority internship program. He was a summer intern with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1988.
