Kuntzman and McCallum Art Exhibit on Display at Mount Union College

David Kuntzman and Steve McCallum's art exhibit will be displayed January 8 ' 31 in the Crandall Art Gallery at Mount Union College.

An artists' reception for Kuntzman and McCallum will be held on Thursday, January 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. Chamber music will be provided by Mount Union students Natalie Deen, Maria Fesz, Emily Foley and Ashley Kemmerer.

David Kuntzman of Paris, Ohio earned a bachelor of arts degree in art from Mount Union College in 1974 and attended Kent State University for graduate studies in 1976 and 1977.

'At present, my artworks have evolved into presentation of various grids of different sizes, different angles, and different colors,' said Kuntzman.

Kuntzman has been featured at numerous one man shows at various locations including the Massillon Museum and the Canton Art Institute.

McCallum earned a bachelor of fine arts in 1973 and a master of fine arts in 1976 from Kent State University.

'My works are the first in a series of new prints that are intended to explore the delicate balance of nature's precision and electronically manufactured nuances, called digital images,' said McCallum.

McCallum's works have been exhibited in California, New York, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Sweden.

Gallery hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 1-6 p.m.
