Lauren Brobeck and Daniel Luketic Named 2008 Outstanding Senior Woman and Man

Lauren Brobeck of Salem was named Outstanding Senior Woman and Daniel Luketic of Rootstown was named Outstanding Senior Man at the annual Senior Recognition and Honors Convocation held Thursday, April 24 in the Mount Union Theatre.
A biochemistry major, Brobeck’s campus activities have included serving as president and vice president – recruitment of Alpha Chi Omega. Named to the Dean’s List every semester, she was a member of the Order of Omega, American Chemistry Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, Psi Kappa Omega and the Alembroic Society. A Berta Tsai Award recipient, she is also a member of the Mount Union Choir and has played women’s volleyball.
A business administration major, Luketic’s campus activities include serving as president of Tau Pi Phi business fraternity and Sophomore Service Honorary as well as vice president for the Investment Team and Blue Key Honorary. Named to the Dean’s List every semester, he has served as an FYE Advocate and is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, Student Activities Council and secretary of the senior class. He also received the Shively Sophomore Award, Presidential Scholarship Award and was a Robert Hillier Scholarship recipient. He has also been active with the Society of Advancing Management and as a coordinator of Emerging Leaders.
Semifinalists for Outstanding Senior Woman were Katrina Hermetet of North Olmstead, Jacey Jenkins of Powell and Alison Lampp of Rocky River. Semifinalists for Outstanding Senior Man were Matthew Leahy of Wadsworth, Jason Prodonovich of Industry, PA and Justin Shaub of North Canton.
These awards have been presented for more than 30 years. Nominations are based upon leadership, citizenship, service and scholarship.
