LINC Luncheon Featuring Professor Margo Miller to be Held February 23, 2016

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Professor Margo Miller, associate professor of Art and Chair of the Department of Art, will present, “Why theVisual Arts?” at the LINC community luncheon on Tuesday, February 23 at noon in the Newbold Room (formerly the East Room) of the Hoover-Price Campus Center.

Miller earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Akron and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Kent State University. Miller has had her artwork featured by a variety of venues, including The Cleveland Biennale touring Drawing Exhibition, the Cleveland May Show and as advertisement by Buckeye Horse Feed of Mars Company.

Sessions are open to the public and run from noon until 1 p.m. during the third Tuesday of the months of September, October, November, February, March and April. Sessions are hosted by Sheilah Smith, general manager/vice president at Huntington Bank and Melissa Gardner, vice president for marketing at the University of Mount Union.

The cost to attend an individual event is $10 and a season package is available for a discounted price. A season pass guarantees a saved spot at each event. Payment is accepted prior to the event by check via mail. Please RSVP as space is limited.
