Lynn M. Frey to Present Lenten Midweek Organ Recital

Lynn M. Frey, organist and director of music and choirmaster at St. Joseph Church, will present a Lenten Midweek Organ Recital on Wednesday, March 26 at noon in Mount Union College's Dewald Chapel.
Frey is a native of Minerva. She received her master's degree in organ performance from Akron University. She is a Colleague of the American Guild of Organists, a workshop presenter for the Diocese of Youngstown, district leader for the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, and past dean of the Canton chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Frey has been playing the organ for 35 years. The past 19 years have been at St. Joseph Church where she is organist for all liturgies and conducts the Raphael Choir, Schola, Men's Quartet, Children's Choir, Handbell Choir and Funeral Choir as well as train and schedule all cantors and instrumentalists of the Parish.
Frey has been a regular performer with the Canton American Guild of Organists as well as recitalist at various area churches. She has many recordings to her credit including St. Joseph's 100th anniversary recording, Canton AGO top organs recording and several others.
Frey resides in North Canton with her husband and their two sons.
The Lenten Midweek Recitals are free and open to the public. Upcoming recitals
include Sally Casto on April 2 and W. Robert Morrison on April 9.
The Dewald Chapel is located on the Mount Union College campus across from the football stadium on Aultman Avenue.
