Discovering Mount Union
I heard of Mount Union because I went to a local high school, and I was also recruited to play golf here. I was also fortunate enough to receive the Trustee Scholarship to attend school here. Mount Union feels like a second home because of the people, professors, and my teammates. I would advise high schoolers who are looking at colleges to make sure to visit the campus. If it is possible, talk to a couple professors and/or prospective coaches.
Experiences at Mount Union
The Integrative Core has helped me with my public speaking skills and has also given me a wider appreciation for the diversity I might experience in the workplace. I have also taken a trip to a local mosque with my FYS class.
Career Goals
I chose finance as my major because I have always really enjoyed math. I decided finance would be the best fit for me. I am also working towards the goal of being a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company. I want to be involved in the stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrency trading market. Mount is preparing me for this goal by providing me with a strong education and allowing me to make contacts in my future field.
