Requirements for a Major in Management

  • Quantitative Methods for Business or Calculus I                                                                                     
  • Financial Accounting
  • Managerial Accounting
  • Management Principles
  • Marketing Principles
  • Corporate Finance I
  • Applied Strategy
  • Operations Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Planning, Policy and Control (SCE)

And any one of the following:

  • Business Law I or II
  • Business Ethics
  • Managerial Microeconomics
  • Seminar in Labor
  • Seminar in Leadership
  • Decision Making Strategies

Any one from the following:

  • Beyond the Classroom: An International Experience
  • Beyond the Classroom: Social Entrepreneurship and/or Community Development
  • Beyond the Classroom: A Professional Bridge*

And any one of the following**:

  • Purchasing and Supply Management
  • Logistics and Distribution Management
  • Project Management
  • Seminar in Small Business
  • Internship in Management

*Note: Students may substitute MGT499 for this requirement
