Margo Miller Accepted into Butler Midyear Art Show

Margo Miller, instructor of art and director of the Crandall Art Gallery at Mount Union College, has been accepted into the 70th National Midyear Show at The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown.

The Midyear, an annual juried painting exhibition, is open to any American artist over eighteen. This year the show was judged by Peter Plagens, well-known painter and noted Newsweek writer/critic.
Miller's work was among only 40 accepted out of approximately 1,500 entries.
'It is always an honor to be accepted into the Midyear,' said Miller. 'The Butler Institute is truly one of Ohio's finest museums.'
Miller, who joined the faculty on 2004, earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Akron and a master of fine arts degree from Kent State University.
The Midyear exhibit will open Friday, July 7 and run through Sunday, August 27.
The Butler Institute of American Art is located in The Beecher Center, 524 Wick Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44502. The Institute is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
