Maria Fesz Senior Cello Recital to be Held April 5

Mount Union College senior Maria Fesz of North Olmsted will be performing a cello recital on Sunday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall.

The program will include Concerto for Violincello in C Major by Franz Hadyn; Sonata for Piano and Violincello in A. Major by Ludwig van Beethoven and Aria (Cantilena) from “Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5” by Heitor Villa-Lobos.

Fesz is a music performance major. She is principal cellist for the Alliance Symphony Orchestra, a member of the Tuscarawas Philharmonic and serves as conductor for the Alliance Youthful Chamber Orchestra. A member of the Concert Choir, Fire Engine Choir, Marching Band and Mu Phi Epsilon honorary music fraternity, she has also played in many ensembles and as a guest performer. A Trustee Scholar, she has also been named to the Dean’s List each semester.
