McKinley Fellow Award Recipients Honored During Mount Union College's Alumni Weekend

Ginger Brown and Bradley and Suzan Goris were presented with the McKinley Fellow Award during Mount Union College's Alumni Weekend festivities, Saturday, June 12 at the annual Alumni Luncheon.
The award is named for former U.S. President William McKinley, who was a member of the Mount Union Board of Trustees and worked as a friend of the College for many years. This award honors a small, select group of individuals who have had a significant impact on Mount Union as non-alumni.
Ginger Brown is a graduate of Monmouth Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and Monmouth College in Long Branch, New Jersey, as well as Kent State University, Stark Campus.
She is a member of the Board of Trustees for Mount Union and for the Massillon Museum. She is a member of the Service League for Community Health and Education and has been active as the past president of Doctor's Hospital Service League. She is a former trustee of the Christ Presbyterian Church of Canton and is a life member of the East Ohio Chapter of the American Heart Association. She and her husband, Seth W. Brown, D.O., are members of the Old Port Yacht Club in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Ginger and Seth reside in Massillon, OH. They have two sons, Shawn and Scott, both 1991 Mount Union graduates.
Bradley Goris, a native of Alliance, OH, graduated from Central Michigan in 1976 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is owner and principle agent of the Glenn Goris Insurance Agency and president of Goris Properties, LLC, a family real estate development and management firm.
Suzan Goris graduated from Trinity University in Texas in 1976 with a bachelor of arts degree. She is currently an insurance agent for Goris-Billiter Insurance Agency.
Both Bradley and Suzan have been loyal patrons to the community and have given countless hours to Alliance area organizations. Brad served on the Alliance Area Jaycees, Carnation Festival Board, Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce and United Bank Community Advisory Board. He is currently serving on the Alliance Rotary Club Board, Canton Symphony Orchestra Board, Mount Union College Community Relations Council and is a member of the Mount Union Alliance Chorale and Century Raiders. Sue has served as chair of the Athena Committee of the Women's Division, Alliance Chamber of Commerce, Presidents' Club, Alliance Chamber Board of Directors and co-chair of the Alliance City Schools Levy Campaign. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance Area Development Foundation and is a member of the Alliance Woman's Club.
Brad and Sue reside in Alliance.
